Ghana’s women’s and men’s handball teams are on the brink of an early exit from the 13th African Games as they struggle to secure victories in the fiercely competitive tournament.
In the men’s division, Ghana faced a tough start, falling to Benin in a closely contested match with a score of 29-24. Despite their best efforts, the Ghanaian team couldn’t overcome Benin’s determined play, highlighting the intensity of competition in the tournament.
As the tournament progressed, Ghana’s men’s team found themselves facing formidable opponents in Togo and Mali. Despite their valiant efforts, they were unable to secure victories, succumbing to Togo with a score of 25-31 and facing a tough defeat against Mali.
On the women’s side, Team Ghana encountered a challenging start in Group A, failing to secure points against strong opponents like Angola and Algeria. With the competition heating up, Ghana’s women’s team remained determined to bounce back and showcase their resilience on the court.
