Former Chairman of Accra Great Olympics, Ade Coker has commended Nii Lante Vanderpuye’s tenure as Minister of Youth and Sports.
Having faced criticisms from a section of football enthusiasts for his outspoken nature and how he tackles issues concerning the Black Stars and the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Ade Coker believes his political party compatriot has performed to the utmost so far in his young tenure in office.
“Nii Lante has done well from what I’ve seen so far. If I had my own way I’d give him another mandate to continue with the good work,” says the former GFA chairman.
“He’s not perfect but such is life because I think in life no one is perfect. People will have different opinion to mine, but I think he’s been pretty so far ever since he has been in office. And I think it does not auger well for us to be changing sports ministers each and every months or year.”
“On his supposed feud with FA, I do interact with Nii Lante on it a lot and I’m well informed on so many things, I wouldn’t want to venture into them now.” He added.
