For Accra nightlife goers, a new music party experience in town. Add it to your calendar. It’s the YKTFV party experience hosted by famed club, event, and radio disc jockey, AD DJ.
A couple of weeks ago, the People’s Champ set the Base Lounge House ablaze with loads of people pulling up to enjoy good music and have a perfect time.
AD DJ graced party-goers with a multicultural assortment of music from across the diaspora, delivering genres like Amapiano, Hip-Hop, R&B, AfroBeats, UK Drill, Dancehall, Reggae with a mix of saxophone tunes from Ghanaian saxophonist Ekowsax.
“This event is one of many to happen. I’m grateful for everyone who showed up to support a movement that is meant to bring beautiful people together. The maiden edition of YKTFV was big, but the next one will be massive,” said AD DJ.
“This is one of the best parties I’ve been to since I arrived in Ghana. I heard about it through a friend and I knew I had to come with my girls. I liked the vibe, the faces, and especially the music. I’m definitely ready for the next one,” a patron said.
AD DJ is a constant headliner for events like “Amapiano & Brunch” by Frontback “On A Tuesday” by Kruna The Club, Mood Bar’s “Skankin Thursdays” Soho’s “Sunset brunch” The Area Bar’s “Retro Set and Angels Sunday” “Beats Fridays” & iMullar’s “Sound System” at FrontBack Accra.
AD DJ’s streak has been on a study rise as his playlist, Keep The Beat Going: Audiomack was featured on Audiomack’s platform with a rising number of accumulating streams. On Saturdays and Sundays, he can be heard nationwide on Ghana’s No.1 Urban Radio station YFM, as the DJ of the Y Campus Express and the Y Top 20 Countdown respectively.
