The Member of Parliament for the Abuakwa North Constituency, N. K. Addo Frempong following his victory as winner of the Abuakwa North parliamentary elections held a thanksgiving service on Monday, January 26, 2025.
The service, which raked in many people from far and near was organized at the Church of Pentecost – Central Assembly, Akyem Kukurantumi in the Eastern Region.
Mr. Frempong, affectionately addressed as ‘Buffalo’, expressed immense gratitude to the constituents of Abuakwa North for giving him the opportunity to serve and develop the constituency.
Profound appreciation was given by Mr. Frempong to the church of Pentecost, for its prayers and the constant intercession on his behalf for his victory.
Speaking on the developmental efforts made by former MP for the constituency, Mrs. Gifty Twum Ampofo, which he noted as exemplary, he reiterated that he is willing to follow in that regard and even do more for the benefits of the constituents.
He shared plans of projects that will be given critical attention such as road redevelopment and construction, creation of jobs and youth-centered initiatives to promote sustainable living for youth in Abuakwa North.
Pastor Emmanuel Arko Aboagye as the officiating minister, urged the newly elected Member of Parliament to lead with humility and integrity. He also called for a time of prayer and intercession for the Member of Parliament, his family, his team and all members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Dignitaries present at the service were, Member of Parliament for Akwapem North constituency, Sammy Awuku; Member of Parliament for Fanteakwa North constituency, Kwame Appiah Kodua; NPP Abuakwa North Constituency Chairman, Alhaji Opass and former Abuakwa North Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Alhaji Omer Bondigah.
