Ablakwa files 2 RTI requests on Rev. Kusi Boateng’s ‘double identity’ scandal

North Tongu Member of Parliament Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has filed a Right to Information(RTI) requests with the Ghana Revenue Authority and the Registrar General’s Department to dig into the National Cathedral Board scandal.

The request borders on issues surrounding the revelation of the possession of multiple identities and other alleged criminal dealings involving the Secretary of the National Cathedral Board of Trustees, Reverend Victor Kusi-Boateng.

A tweet by the lawmaker on Friday said: “I have successfully filed 2 RTI requests with the Ghana Revenue Authority and the Registrar General’s Department on the Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng/Kwabena Adu Gyamfi Double Identity Scandal.

He intimated that “In the true spirit of the rule of law and democratic accountability, these 2 institutions owe the Ghanaian people urgent explanations.”

Meanwhile, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has petitioned the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) to investigate Reverend Victor Kusi-Boateng, over a conflict of interest, among others.

The petition alleged that there was a transfer of GH¢2.6million cash from the National Cathedral Secretariat to JNS Talent Centre Limited owned by Rev. Kusi-Boateng under his secondary identity, Kwabena Adu Gyamfi.
