Ghana’s active coronavirus cases have dropped below 1,000 as the country eases restrictions to bounce back to normal life.
In its latest update, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) reported that the active cases now stand at 904 after some 43,478 recoveries and discharges were confirmed.
New cases from the labs have also dropped in the double digits zone after 41 fresh cases were confirmed, taking the national tally to 44,658.
The death toll has remained unchanged since August 30, standing at 276. Six persons are in a critical condition while 16 others have their situation classified as severe. Three are currently on ventilators.
