Wilfred Osei Palmer has admitted having issues with the grounds on which the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) dismissed his case against the Ghana Football Association (GFA) but has accepted the ruling.
The global sports tribunal ruled that Normalisation Committee acting as Elections Committee were spot on with their decision to disqualify Palmer from contesting the presidential election in October last year.
In reaction, Palmer said he has no option than to accept the final verdict by CAS as he believes this is a victory for Ghana football.
“Even though I have issues against the main grounds for the delivery of the final verdict, I have no other alternative than to accept it in good faith and move on in life. At the end of the day, it is a victory for Ghana Football,” a statement by Palmer read.
“It is my prayer that we all continue to pool our resources to move Ghana Football forward to reach the desired heights that we all wish for.”
