The main opposition National Democratic Congress will launch its manifesto for the 2020 polls on Monday August 31,2020, National Communications Officer of the party said.
According to Sammy Gyamfi, the manifesto will be launched in Accra.
“I’m a member of the manifesto launch committee and it was decided that our manifesto will be launched on the 31st of August. And to those of you who are wondering whether it will be in Accra or another region, it will be in Accra,” Mr Gyamfi announced at a press conference in Accra Monday.
The ruling New Patriotic Party launched its manifesto for the December polls last Saturday August 22,2020 at Cape Coast in the Central region.
While addressing the gathering, General secretary of the Party Jon Boadu accused the NDC of delaying the launch of their manifesto so they can steal ideas from the NPP.
The party among other things promised to construct and Airport in the Central region and also help young unemployed people with their rent payment.
