“I am hoping to maintain all the awards that I won last season. It has been three years since I joined the club and I hope to do more this season.
He added: “It is good to return to the field after a long break due to the coronavirus pandemic. After football restart things have been different. When I scored in our game, I tried to jubilate but I realize the fans were not there. I am excited football has returned”.
Solomon Asante last season swooped four awards at the Phoenix Rising gala for his outstanding contributions to the team’s success in the 2019 USL Championship regular season.
He claimed his club’s Golden Boot, Most Valuable Player, Goal of the Season and Players’ Player awards last season.
