Black Starlets assistant coach Ntow Gyan, has urged the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to appoint a Ghanaian to replace Francis Oti-Akenteng who left the role last month.
The GFA did not renew Oti Akenteng’s contract after its expiration on 31st March, 2020.
The FA is currently searching for a new technical director and have opened it up for qualified people to apply.
According to Coach Ntow Gyan, the GFA must appoint a Ghanaian to lead the Technical Directorate.
“The only difference between the white is that they are sincere and honest. I will prefer a Ghanaian to be named as the next Technical Director”, he told Happy FM.
He added that the GFA should poach for qualified candidates.
“The Ghana FA must head hunt the next technical director if possible”
Happy Sports understands that alot of foreign coaches have applied for the job.
Some top-notch coaches on the domestic scene such as Didi Dramani, Professor Joseph Mintah and Edusei are yet to apply for the job.
