Happy FM, Ghana’s number one sports station, as part of its efforts to engage its loyal listeners and draw them close to the station, has embarked on a campaign dubbed ‘Happy on Wheels’.
‘Happy on Wheels’ is an initiative by Happy FM that aims at taking radio closer to its audiences for community engagement.
The ‘Neoplan Station’ at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra on Thursday, March 28, will be the first stop among several stops around the country for the ‘Happy on Wheels’ train.
Happy FM will run its programmes; ‘Anopa Bosuo Sports’, ‘Nsem Pii’, ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ and ‘Wamputu Sports’ shows live from the Neoplan Station. The station will be providing a rare opportunity for residents and people who ply their trade around the Kwame Nkrumah Circle and its environs to interact with their favourite Happy FM presenters and producers.
Speaking about the ‘Happy on Wheels’ initiative, Emmanuel Akrumah, Programmes Manager said, “Happy on Wheels is a project involving the local community and also promoting the culture of inclusion of the ordinary Ghanaian in radio. This event will be replicated in other towns across the country. Watch out for the next stop of ‘Happy on Wheels’ train,’’ he added.
