
Coach of the Black Princesses, Didi Dramani has asserted that Kumasi Asante Kotoko gave him a huge platform to exhibit his prowess as a coach.
According to Dramani who the the League and FA Cup with the Porcupine warriors, he struggled in the initial stages of his reign as gaffer of the club but due to his awreness of his environment, he was able to shape things for the club.
Speaking on Happy FM’s Wamputu Sports, Didi revealed atthat he never lobbied for the Kotoko job.
“I will forever say that Asante Kotoko gave me a huge platform to exhibit my coaching prowess as I hadn’t been with any Premier League club prior to that appointment. I came and met a plethora of stars like Nii Adjei and Yaw Frimpong but I managed the team well and at the end of the day, it paid of.” He told Happy FM.
“I never lobbied for the Kotoko Job. I remember I was running a course for licence ‘B’ coaches in Prampram when I got a call from Dr. K.K Sarpong who offered me job as head coach. He later came to Prampram to see me and we started the process from there.” Didi Dramani added.
