Sometimes in life, certain milestones tend to be very overwhelming. One of such milestones with such effect is attaining a position to serve the republic of Ghana as a Minister.
Hon. Barbara Asher Ayisi, the deputy minister of education in charge of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), has recounted how emotional she was with her family when she got her appointment as deputy minister.
She was a guest on Happy FM’s ‘Ayekoo’ after drive show with DJ Advicer and she made this disclosure.
“It was exciting and for sometime I was quiet, because I counting my blessings, looking at how far the Lord has brought us. I wept with my family over receiving the appointment as deputy minister of education. I was happy I had made my mother happy, “she revealed.
Earlier this year, the minister who doubles as the member of parliament of the Cape Coast North Constituency met with the German delegation made up of Proffessor Dr. Dietmar Frommberger, Mrs. Lena Krichewsky-Wegner, Mr. Ernst Junke and Richard Mensah promised to support Ghana with the requisite skills and experience which will aim at increasing productivity in the area of Technical, Vocational and Education Training.
