The Chairman of the Ghana Amputee Football Association, Rev Richard Nii Amartey Adesah has been arrested over visa allegation.
Rev Adesah is alleged to have taken a sum of GH¢9,000 from the complainant under the guise of securing him a visa to the abroad.
All efforts by the complainant to later retrieve his passport and the visa proved futile.
The complainant therefore reported him to the police, who arrested the reverend minister on Friday, June 1, at the Accra Sports Stadium – after being elected to chair a five-member committee to lead the Black Challenge to the upcoming World Cup in Mexico.
