Head coach of German second-division side Holstein Kiel, Tim Walter has ruled out the transfer of Ghanaian midfielder Kingsley Schindler this summer amid interest from several Bundesliga clubs.
Kingsley was a standout performer in the just ended campaign, finishing the season with 12 goals and 5 assists in 33 appearances.
And according to the newly appointed manager he wants to build a team around the 24 year old next season.
“Of course, Kingsley Schindler would like to play in the Bundesliga, I understand that too. But the discussion about our players is over, that is not negotiable. Around this framework, we want to bring fresh blood, rejuvenate the squad purposefully. “
His ability to operate as a wing-back, right midfielder or further forward where he has played for much of the campaign makes the Hamburg-born player an attractive option for any club.
