Haji Fati otherwise known as ‘Agelle’, a senior member of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has stressed that the police administration has not cause to arrest her daughter Hajia Booya over her alleged threats on the life of an Accra-based TV3 presenter Kwakye Nuamah-Afreh.
According to her, the daughter has not done anything wrong to warrant her arrest by the police.
If anything her daughter has a family, she belongs to a party and the matter must be treated as such.
She claimed what is the work of the police in this matter when her daughter has a family.
She explained that the matter could be dealt with at the family level so the police should get off her daughter.

But the victim; Kwakye Nuamah-Afreh, insists that he expects the matter to travel its course with the police.
He told the presenter he had confirmed the threats on his person by the party fanatic.
I took the decision to report the matter to the appropriate quarters and I expect the police to deal with it.
