Captain and talisman of the Black Stars Asamoah Gyan has been named Honorary President of high-flying Division One campaigners Phar Rangers FC.
Gyan, who clocked 50 goals for Ghana in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Sunday, joins the blistering team of ambitious young administrators to help propel the team to greater heights.
President of Phar Rangers FC, Nana Yaw Amponsah, has expressed elation at the club’s latest development and believes the club is in pole position to attain greatness in the next few years.
“We are excited to have Asamoah Gyan on board as our Honorary President. We know this is going to help encourage our boys to give their best and put the club on a higher pedestal as we look to make Phar Rangers FC a model club in Ghana.” Nana Yaw Amponsah said.
