An outraged resident of Chorkor has publicly expressed frustration regarding the new ECG prepaid electricity meters installed in the community.

The individual complained in a video posted on Facebook that the costs associated with the meters are excessively high, burdening users.

He also claimed that if authorities fail to address the issue promptly, he would consider destroying the meters.

The concerns about these new prepaid meters aren’t isolated.

Across various communities, similar complaints have arisen, pointing to inefficiencies and unresolved issues with the transition. For example, some users reported losing their existing credit balances during the meter switch, while others have encountered technical glitches, making the process even more frustrating.

These challenges have fueled dissatisfaction, leaving residents demanding transparency and swift resolution.
