Owner and president of Elimina Sharks FC, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom has reacted to the GH₵10,000 and three months ban placed on him by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association.
Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom has been fined and banned by the GFA following violent attacks on match officials during the match involving Elmina Sharks and Swedru All Blacks in the Division One League on February 16, 2025.
He was found guilty for interfering with the match by entering the inner perimeter and field of play without authorization to protest a penalty decision in favor of the away team.
Reacting to this in a Facebook post, Dr. Nduom urged the journalists waiting to get a response from him to focus on other things because he is currently busy trying to get authorities to reinstate the license of GN Bank.
“Those of you in the media and elsewhere looking to interview me sorry. Not now, all my work and efforts now go to getting back my companies’ licenses and bringing back 3000 of the jobs that were lost. As for GFA, don’t mind them,” the post read.
Meanwhile the GFA after the fine and ban warned Dr. Nduom that any further misconduct will attract severe sanctions
