
President John Dramani Mahama has issued a directive for suspects in the National Service ghost names scandal who have left the country to be declared wanted.
According to president Mahama, their assets in Ghana will be traced and frozen until investigations into the scandal are concluded.
President Mahama who was addressing the country at his first State of the Nation Address on Thursday, February 27, 2025 in Parliament assured that the National Service ghost names scandal will be investigated to the core.
“Suspects of NSS scandal who have left the country will be declared wanted and assets frozen till investigations are completed.”
“I have tasked our investigative bodies to bring the culprits of the NSS scandal to justice,” President John Dramani Mahama stated.
