Election 2024: Ntrubo North Paramount Chief urges politicians to prioritize peace during and after elections

The Paramount Chief of the Ntrubo North Traditional Area, Nana Obirkitibi Amnadu Okordie I, has called on leaders of political parties to promote peace during and after the elections.

According to him, political leaders should come together and put measures in place to resolve any dispute that may arise during or after the election to promote peace and the development of the nation.

He also said Electoral laws should be strengthened to promote transparency and ensure free and fair election.

He added that vote buying, manipulation of Electoral processes, voter intimidation should be avoided to uphold the credibility of the election.

Nana Obirkitibi said these during the celebration of Kedesa Festival in Bontibor community of Nkwanta South Municipality of the Volta Region.
