Deputy Minister for Information and Member of Parliament for Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfro, Sylvester Tetteh, says he will launch an investigation into the allocation of Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) lands to private individuals in the Akwasa area, where a recent demolition occurred.
‘’That is an investigation I will launch into the occupant of this flat. As a deputy sector minister, I will launch into this, and not only this flat you see, there are many flats that have been built by private individuals.’’
He added, “Over 100,000 residents live here, yet there’s no public school”.
Speaking to the media, after he was accused by GBC of demolishing their structure, Mr. Tetteh mentioned that, the land in question is for the construction of a school building.
“If am not taking the land for my private use but is for public good and you even think that where we are siting is not the place, bring the evidence..”.
