The presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed strong confidence in the party’s ability to secure victory in the upcoming elections.

Reflecting on his journey within the NPP, Dr. Bawumia described his election as presidential candidate as proof of the party’s commitment to inclusivity. He stressed that the NPP is open to all, regardless of tribe or religion, with leadership based on merit and competence.

Speaking during a campaign tour in Keta on Thursday, October 24, Dr. Bawumia emphasized the importance of the upcoming elections, calling it a defining moment for Ghana’s future. He reaffirmed the NPP’s belief in the potential to transform the nation and highlighted his campaign efforts, revealing that he has toured over 200 constituencies.

Dr. Bawumia expressed optimism about the party’s chances, stating that they remain focused and are not distracted by opposition tactics.

He urged supporters to stay committed and avoid being distracted by the actions of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), claiming the NDC is attempting to divert attention because it fears losing the election.
