The paramount chief of the Peki Traditional Area, Torgbuiga Deiga Kwadzo Dei XII, has commended the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government for its development efforts and social intervention programs, noting their positive impact on the nation.
He expressed his appreciation during a visit by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s flagbearer, to his palace. The chief acknowledged progress in areas such as infrastructure, education, health, and social welfare, emphasizing that these initiatives have brought significant benefits to various communities, including the Peki Traditional Area.
Addressing his people, he encouraged them to adopt a practical and open-minded approach toward government policies. He advised the community to critically assess the benefits of these initiatives and embrace those that align with their development goals, highlighting the importance of making informed decisions to advance the area.
The paramount chief also stressed the need for national unity and active citizen participation in Ghana’s development. He called for collaboration between the government and the public to ensure continued progress across the country.
