Founder and president of the Atta Mills Institute, Koku Anyidoho, has dismissed claims that Edwin Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, a prominent Ghanaian politician, helped him secure a position in the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He addressed these allegations in an interview on Happy 98.9FM’s Epa Hoa Daben Show, with Bismark Brown, where he narrated his longstanding association with the NDC.
He recounted his involvement in forming the NDC Youth Forum in 2001 which he stated was without Vanderpuye.
Anyidoho expressed his frustration with the rumors being circulated by the Member of Parliament for the Odododiodio constituency, calling for a public debate to set the record straight. “Nii Lantey was not part of the NDC; the first time I really encountered Nii Lantey was in 2004, after it had been declared that the NPP had won the general elections,” Anyidoho revealed.
