Greater Accra Regional Minister, Daniel Titus Glover has responded to the Odoi Kese Family to the effect that he is ready to meet them at the Law Courts.
According to him, the demolition exercise undertaken by his outfit together with security personnel was lawful and legal.
Titus Glover indicated that the demolition of some structures under construction near the Dodowa forest was a result of the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs concerns over increasing encroachment by private developers.
” I am the chairman of the Regional and District Security Council (REGSEC), if they want us to go to court i am ready, we will bring our lawyers”.
Notwithstanding, parties involved were asked to bring their documents to prove their ownership of the land since 9 July 2024 before the demolition took place.
“The Odoi Kese family should also know that I am not a Landguard as described by them and if they claim the land was for them, why were soldiers guarding it?, he asked.
He made this response after the Chief of Anum-Asamankese and principal member of the Odoi Kese family at Obosomase, Osabarima Essah Kwasi Mensah Bediako III threatened to sue the Minister after demolishing of structures on a piece of land at Dodowa belonging to the family.
