About the Venue
The Stade de la Paix, with a capacity of 40,000, is one of Côte d’Ivoire’s most iconic football venues. Originally built in 1984 for the African Cup of Nations, the stadium was recently renovated for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. Its name, which means “Stadium of Peace,” commemorates a 2007 peace ceremony marking the end of the country’s civil unrest.
