Spokesperson for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, has highlighted the party’s personalized campaign strategy, which aims to directly engage voters through door-to-door, store-to-store, and house-to-house interactions.
She emphasized that this approach is a key part of marketing the party’s agenda and sharing its vision. She noted that this campaign tour represents the third phase of Mr. Mahama’s campaign efforts. The first phase was the flagbearership contest, followed by the “Let’s Build Ghana Together”listening tour with the current tour marking the beginning of active campaigning after a successful launch in Tamale.
She revealed that the tour will commence in Wa, where Mr. Mahama will attend the ordination of a New Episcopal Priest in the West Region as a Special guest and proceed to Bolgatanga. She stressed that a large durbar with traditional leaders in the Upper East Region is also planned, where Mr. Mahama will outline his mission and objectives.
Speaking to Happyghana.com she revealed that the campaign will cover various areas including Bawku Central, Binduri, Pusiga, Bolga East, Talesi, and Bongo. She added that the campaign will focus on the theme “Resetting the Button on Ghana,” emphasizing the need to reset the economy and other aspects of governance. She said the overarching message is a call to Ghanaians to unite in building the Ghana we all aspire to have.
