Senior Advisor to Alan Kyerematen, Nana Ohene Ntow, has stated that the government should have considered allocating the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP) machines to private contractors instead of Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs).

He suggested that private contractors selected from the assemblies could have been provided with the machines under specific guidelines for their use.

According to him, this approach would ensure long-term sustainability as these contractors, who rely on roadwork for their livelihood, would be more inclined to maintain the equipment properly.

Nana Ohene Ntow mentioned that Alan Kyerematen is advocating for the introduction of the Great Transformational Plan (GTP) to facilitate privatization.

He emphasized the need to reconsider the current strategy for managing national resources.

He said that Alan Kyerematen, the Leader and Founder of the Movement for Change, is advocating for an Enterprise Economy where private individuals will have the opportunity to drive development.
