This session, taking place in the parliamentary chamber, follows a request from members who want to understand the EC’s readiness for the upcoming elections.
Parliamentarians have shown a strong interest in the EC’s preparedness, prompting this engagement.
The briefing will address various aspects of the preparations, including logistical arrangements, voter registration updates, and measures to ensure a free and fair election process.
Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Andrew Asiamah Amoako, announced the briefing during proceedings on Thursday, July 18. He highlighted the session’s significance in providing clarity and assurance to Parliament members and the public regarding the integrity and efficiency of the electoral process.
