The People’s Republic of China has made a call to zoos in the United States of America to dispatch pandas back to China due to the rising economic tension between the nation and the United States.
Recent news indicates that the ever-growing tension surrounds the stability of their respective economies and the establishment of individual defense systems.
The pandas which derive origin from the East Asian country are not only a major tourist attraction for zoos all across the United States but also serve as a diplomatic establishment for China in the U.S.
According to Bloomberg, the homecoming for the pandas comes after 50 years of being kept in the U.S and is scheduled to commence on December 7. The move, they say, will stymie any future decisions to use the pandas as a chit in future negotiations.
China has requested American zoos in Washington DC, San Diego, Memphis and Atlanta to prepare for the dispatch.
