Dreams FC’s General Manager, Ameenu Shardow, exuded confidence as his team prepares for their crucial second leg clash against Sierra Leone’s FC Kallon in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Dreams FC currently holds a 2-1 advantage from the first leg and is determined to secure their ticket to the group stage of the tournament.

Reflecting on the first-leg encounter, Shardow during an interview on Happy FM said “In the first leg, we could have scored more and not conceded, but it’s part of football. Kallon FC are not better than us; we respect them; they are a very good side.”

With the reversal of the fixture to Liberia’s Samuel Kay Doe (SKD) Stadium due to concerns about the suitability of the Southern Arena in Sierra Leone, Dreams FC remains unfazed. Shardow affirmed, “We are confident of qualifying and making Ghana proud.”

The upcoming match on September 30, 2023, is set to be a test of skill and determination as Dreams FC seeks to cement their position in the CAF Confederation Cup.
