Ghanaian referee Daniel Laryea has achieved a significant milestone in his officiating career, as he has been chosen as one of the esteemed referees to oversee matches at the upcoming U-17 FIFA World Cup in Indonesia. Laryea’s selection is not only an honor for him personally but also a testament to the quality of referees emerging from the African continent. He is among the 11 African referees who have received this prestigious opportunity, showcasing the growing influence and expertise of African officials on the global stage.

His journey to the U-17 FIFA World Cup comes on the heels of his role as Video Assistant Referee (VAR) during the 2022 CHAN tournament held in Algeria.
