President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt E.S Okraku has expressed confidence in having successfully navigated through the first face of the vetting process.
With anticipation building around the forthcoming Election Committee decision, Okraku exuded assurance, stating, “I’m confident of successful going through this process and we will be ready.”
Okraku, who has been at the forefront of the association’s activities, emphasized the significance of truthfulness in the football community. He asserted, “The football people will always speak the truth.”
He further urged a collective commitment to sharing positive accomplishments, highlighting the awareness that the GFA has performed commendably.
As the nation awaits the Election Committee’s verdict, the aspiring GFA President underscored the need for persistence, encouraging everyone to persist in sharing positive accomplishments with others.
The decision of the Election Committee, revealing those who have passed the vetting, is set to be published on Monday, 28 August.
In the upcoming GFA elections, Okraku will face off against former GFA Vice President George Afriyie.
The highly anticipated Elective Congress*is scheduled to convene on Wednesday, 27 September 2023 in Tamale.
The Congress agenda is set to encompass a range of important topics, including the election of the GFA President, the selection of Executive Council Members, and the official swearing-in ceremony.
