Chief Executive Officer (CEO), of Division One side, Eleven Wonders, Andrews Fosu Antwi, is optimistic about his side’s chances of securing qualification to the Ghana Premier League next season.
Techiman Eleven Wonders, despite losing to Kumbung Binbiem in the last round of matches, still bossed Zone 1A with 52 points after 28 matches, having picked 14 wins in the process.
They will hope to emerge as winners of the zone and secure promotion to the GPL next season when they face Bofoakwa Tano at the Accra Sports Stadium in the Division One, Zone I playoffs come Tuesday, May 30.
Speaking ahead of what many have described as an epic play-off fixture on Happy FM, Mr. Antwi urged all supporters of the club to throw their weight behind the team as they pursue qualification.
“ We are very positive we can end this season on a very good note by emerging as the zone champions and also secure qualification to the GPL. Bofoakwa Tano is a very formidable side and we are anticipating a difficult match. Come Tuesday, we will see who is who. We are putting in the necessary preparations and engaged in a friendly with Hearts of Oak to measure our level of readiness. So, all I can say is we are ready!”
Eleven Wonders got evicted from the Premier League two seasons ago and will hope for a quick return this time leaving no stone unturned.
