The Koku Family was treated to a fun packed vacation during Christmas after emerging victors of Happy 98.9 FM’s Santa Happy Family edition.
Happy 98.9 FM introduced a whole new meaning to the Christmas festive season, with the ‘Santa Happy’ initiative. The ‘Santa Happy’ project seeks to bring smiles and warmth to the hearts of children and families, by helping them realize their dreams for Christmas.
The Koku Family as part of the prize package promised them by Happy 98.9 FM enjoyed a destination tour of the Boti Falls, taking in the scenery and going knee dipping at the waterfalls.
They joined other families to take part in competitive games, developing stronger family bonds in the process, an experience the family regards as priceless.
The highlight of the trip was the serenading candlelight dinner enjoyed by the family of three by the waterfalls.
Father of the family, Emmanuel Koku shared his delight at the experience and adventure kind courtesy of Happy 98.9 FM. “My daughter informed me of the Santa Happy Family edition and as a family, we decided to partake in the contest. It was a pleasant surprise when we received a call announcing us as winners of the draw and I must say I am impressed by the prize package. The trip gave us time to bond as a family and I am extremely grateful to Happy FM and its partners for this opportunity.”
