Thomas Kusi Boafo, CEO of the Public Sector Reforms Secretariat, has urged Ghanaians to adopt the contentious e-levy.He said embracing the charge is the simplest way to avert economic catastrophe.

So, unless the Electronic Transaction Levy (E-levy) is enacted, the Ghana government would forsake its programs, Kusi-Boafo said on Kessben FM’s ‘Amansan Ntie’ show.

“We don’t like free education, therefore stop hiring our kids, don’t raise wages and salaries,” Kusi-Boafo fire employees.

So that God may reward us, Ghanaians want the government to accomplish all of these things. Now is the moment to show that we are saving the country,” Kufo-Boafo said in Twi.
