Former Ghana goalkeeper, Abubakari Damba ,has said that Asante Kotoko should maintain Felix Annan in post for their upcoming games in the Ghana Premier League.
Felix Annan returned to the goal post last Saturday against WAFA on match day 26 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Kotoko captain replaced first choice goalkeeper Razak Abalorah, who was dropped for the game.
According to sources, the decision to drop Razak Abalorah was due to fatigue.
Felix Annan was impressive in the game for Kotoko as they were held at home by WAFA to a 1-1 draw.
Abubakari Damba has indicated that Felix Annan should be allowed to keep the post to ensure consistency.
“The performance of Felix Annan was satisfactory and they should maintain him”, he told Happy 98.9FM.
“For Razak Abalorah he needs to be rested for at least three games. This will allow Abalorah to rest and also build his confidence. So in my opinion they need to play Felix Annan ahead of Abalorah.
“They should also not think of putting Abalorah too much on the bench since that can also affect his performance considering the stage he is in now”, he added.
