The Bolgatanga Police Patrol Team in partnership with other sister security agencies have arrested five hundred and twenty-seven (527) Nigerians illegally residing in the Bolgatanga Township.

In an interview with our Correspondent Emmanuel Akayeti, the Upper East Regional Police Commander, DCOP Dr. Saibu Gariba said, the Nigerian nationals entered Ghana through unapproved routes.
Dr. Gariba said the Nigerians have been sent to Accra for onward processes to be sent back to Nigeria.

DCOP Gariba highlighted other arrests made of foreign nationals in the Bolgatanga Township since he assumed office in March this year.
