Ghanaian Football Legend, Joe Debrah has urged the current Asante Kotoko team to up their game to meet the standards.

The former Ghana International was speaking in an interview on Happy FM’s Where Are They Program on the performance of the current team.

Joe Debrah is of the view that the current team needs to train and work hard to meet the standards set by legends of the club.

According to him, playing for Asante Kotoko requires a lot of sacrifice, dedication and hard work.

Speaking in an interview with Ohene-Bampoe Brenya on Happy 98.9FM on the current performance of the team, he said, “I watched the game against Al Hilal in the CAF Champions League. The current Kotoko squad needs to work very hard. They need to be doing extra training. Any team that faces Kotoko prepares adequately and very well. So the players must train and be ready for any team”.

He stated his willingness to work with the current team when his services are needed by the club.

“Nobody has ever approached me to work with Asante Kotoko. My doors are always opened and I am willing to work with Asante Kotoko”.
