The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has cast his vote in the Walewale Constituency in the West Mamprusi Municipality of the North East Region this morning.
In a media interview after casting his vote, the Veep admonished all Ghanaians to vote in a peaceful manner. He warned people against violence and appealed to the Electoral Commission, the Media and the Security Agencies to play their roles responsibly.
The Vice President was confident that the NPP’s success in implementing its flagship programmes like the free Senior High School policy, Planting for Food and Jobs, One District One Factory,among others will secure a win for the NPP.
Meanwhile, he has urged all Ghanaians to go out in their numbers to vote.
