Uganda’s Minister of State for Sports, Charles Bakkabulindi has vowed that the Cranes will beat Ghana’s Black Stars when both sides meet in the AFCON 2017 Group D opener on Tuesday.
Speaking to Happy FM‘s Mac-Paradise Okocha in Gabon’s city of Port Gentil, Hon. Bakkabulindi intimated that his team knows how the Ghanaian team plays and they are bent on containing the Black Stars for 90 minutes and beat them.
He also revealed that the issues of money that rocked the team have been resolved and they will prove why they were voted the best team on the continent.
“Our opening game against Ghana will be very exciting because we have met Ghana several times and history tells us that we do very well against Ghana so I am expecting a win and my team is very prepared for that. We are surely going to win on Tuesday. We know how Ghana plays and we will contain them for 90 minutes and beat them. We have solved all monetary issues in camp so our boys are more focused on the game now. ” Bakkabulindi told Happy FM‘s Okocha.
