About a 2-acre marijuana farm at Mem a suburb of Atebubu in the Bono East region has been destroyed by Police personnel deployed from the Atebubu Police command led by the District commander Chief Supt. Bright Boafo.
The owner of the farm, Opanin Kwadwo Sampene who is 77-year-old man has been arrested to assist the police in the investigation.
The Police had a tipoff from a resident about the farm and they made the arrest.
Speaking to the suspect Opanin Kwadwo Sampene he said he has been smoking weed for sixty years now and because he has no help from anyone he has to make it a farm so that he can sell them for money.
