Ghanaian attacker Yahaya Mohammed is expected to land in Tanzania in the coming hours to sign a bumper deal with top-flight side FC Azam.
The Aduana Stars talisman left Accra on Tuesday evening on board a flight bound for the East African country.
He is expected to undergo medicals on Wednesday morning and sign a three-year-contract worth $100,000, according to GSN.
Yahaya will be on an annual salary of $72,000.
The former OGC Nice star caught the attention of the mega-rich club after excelling for Aduana Stars in the Ghanaian Premier League last season after scoring 13 goals for the Fire Club.
The move comes as a big surprise to the Ghanaian league as the dreadlocked scoring midfielder promised winning the goal king title in the coming season with Aduana Stars.
Azam, who have set their sights on Ghanaian talents, have already landed Medeama duo Enoch Atta Adjei and Daniel Amoah and have also handed trial opportunity to a number of players including former Hasaacas attacker Samuel Afful.
