487 people arrested in Kumasi for alleged involvement in QNET Ponzi Scheme

The Ghana Police Service conducted an intelligence-led operation in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, resulting in the arrest of 487 suspects linked to the QNET Ponzi scheme. The operation, carried out in a house at Adwuman near Kenyasi, a suburb of Kumasi, netted 257 females and 230 males.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects had been luring unsuspecting individuals from across the country with promises of attractive returns on investments, deceiving them into participating in the scheme.

Among the evidence seized from the suspects are registration documents and various materials featuring the QNET logos. Twelve individuals, identified as high-ranking executives of the scheme, have been named as Gyereh Evelyn, Francis Kpesah, Samuel Musah, Simon Yakubu, Thomas Kotual, Kwasi Nyabi, Benjamin Nsigma, Elijah Musah, Moses Katu, John Balabon Tagnakibi, James Nogma, and Fidelis Bang-ib.

These executives are currently in police custody, cooperating with the investigation and providing valuable insights into the inner workings of the QNET Ponzi scheme.
