Former coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, David Duncan, has been voted as the WORST Coach of the Year in Happy FM’s Golden Bin Awards (Bindone d’Oro).
Duncan, who has also coached Hearts and Ashgold, beat off stiff competition from Bashir Hayford to scoop the award.
The assertive trainer polled 60% of the total votes cast while Coach Bash garnered 40% of the votes cast.
It was an initial battle among David Duncan, Yusif Basigi, Sergio Traguil, Bashir Hayford, J.E Sarpong, Anthony Commey and Herbert Addo but after voting ended on Tuesdays, Bashir Hayford and David Duncan came up a joint first so they tie had to be broken on Wednesday.
Coach David Duncan was booted out of Kotoko last season after amassing a paltry five points from the club’s first six games.
