![Kwesi Nyantakyi Appointed to UG Advisory Board]()
Spokesperson for the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Ibrahim Saanie Daara has intimated to Happy FM that president of the association, Kwesi Nyantakyi, has been appointed as a member of the University of Ghana Sports Advisory Board to help promote sports at the university.
According to Saanie Daara, this adds up to affirm that Mr. Nyantakyi is doing a great job and hence getting a lot of plaudits for same.
“President Nyantakyi got another feather in his cap by being appointed to the University of Ghana Sports Advisory Board. This affirms that he is really do a great job.” Saanie Daara told Happy FM.
In a letter sighted by HappyGhana.com, Nyantakyi is to offer his expert advice on the development and optimal use of prevailing sports infrastructure. “He is also to advise on the development and optimal use of prevailing sports infrastructure with a view to maintaining it at international levels,” the letter added, and expressed the hope the GFA capo would bring his knowledge and expertise in sports to help promote sports at the university. The appointment by the premier university comes on the heels of Mr Nyantakyi’s recent election onto the Executive Council of the Federation of Association Football (FIFA) where the latter beat his Madagascan counterpart by a single vote to join the Council.
