Innocent Ujah Idibia, known by his stage name 2Baba, the Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer has arrived in Ghana ahead of African Legends Night (ALN) slated for Saturday September 28, 2019 at the Grand Arena Dome at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
The “African Queen” hit maker, in an interview with Brownberry, ‘Weekend Rush’ Presenter on YFM answered questions posed to him in ‘Twi’ a Ghanaian dialect.
When Brown Berry asked in Twi ‘eti sen’ (How are you?) 2baba answered ‘Bokor’ (I am cool). He also responded to the famous ‘Akwaaba’ a word that has become synonymous with Ghana’s hospitability credentials.
2Baba also said ‘Odo Yewu’ an endearment used to refer to one’s lover which literally mean ‘my love in death’ in Twi. Twi is a local Ghanaian dialect spoken by the Akan people in Ghana.
He also entreated his countless fans to meet him at AICC for African Legends Night.
‘’Tonight will be great, I am so ready so grab your tickets and come join me’’ he stated.
2Baba who arrived on Friday September 27, 2019 was greeted at the Airport by enthusiastic fans and supporters who would not want to miss a photo opportunity with the Nigerian Legend for anything in the world.
2Baba will join Congolese Soukous entertainer, Awilo Longomba and a host of Ghanaian Legends led by Mr. Music Man Kojo Antwi.
African Legends Night is a musical soiree held annually with the aim of recognizing and celebrating African musicians who are considered living legends.
The African Legends Night will take place at the Grand Arena Dome, Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on the 28th September, 2019. Legends to perform include the evergreen 2Baba, Ghana’s “Music Man”, Kojo Antwi, Congolese megastar, Awilo Longomba and the highlife Crooner, Ofori Amponsah.
