The president of the Ghana Union of Traders Association (GUTA), the umbrella body of traders across the country has indicated, he will not be seeking re-election as the president of the association in the next polls.
Mr. George Kweku Ofori, is on record to have told close allies in the executives of the association that he will not be seeking re-election if the association open nomination for  polls.
‘Epa Hoa Daben’, the socio-political show on Accra-based Happy FM can confirm that the president has bid farewell to his ambitions of leading the traders association for the next tenure.
It is however, not clear why Mr. Ofori is relenting on seeking re-election to lead the association for the next four years.
But family sources have hinted that Mr. Ofori wants to focus on his chieftaincy title in the Kwahu area of the Eastern region.
Reports have it that George Kweku Ofori has already been installed and outdoored under a stool name Barima Dr. Ofori Ameyaw to the admiration of the people of Kwahu area.
