Ghana international and West Ham forward, Andre Ayew, is on the verge of making a return to the green turf following his recuperation speed.
West Ham reported on Thursday that Ayew is progressing well and has started running on the pitch. He is expected to add ball work to his rehab soon.
Ayew. who is Black Stars’ deputy captain, sprained his thigh muscle when he attempted tracking down Eden Hazard in West Ham’s opening league game against Chelsea.
Initial reports that followed the former Marseille linchpin’s injury indicated a return date in December but current conditions of the player points to an earlier return date for the Hammer.
